Squarespace hosting renewal prices in 2026: what you actually pay
Squarespace advertises an introductory rate. This is what the same plans cost once that rate ends, which is the number your card is charged for as long as you stay.
| Plan | Advertised | On renewal | Rise | Same thing here |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Personal 50 GB · 1 site | n/a | £16.80 | n/a | Pro £9.99 £81.72 a year less |
| Business 50 GB · 1 site | n/a | £24.00 | n/a | Pro £9.99 £168.12 a year less |
The catch
Annual prepay for the advertised rate. Proprietary platform — the site cannot be exported to another host.
The verdict
On every plan above, the equivalent here is cheaper once Squarespace renews, by £81.72 a year at the narrowest and £168.12 a year at the widest. There is no introductory rate to expire, because we do not run one.
What to do about it
If you are inside a term, note the renewal date and decide before it bills, not after. If you are already paying the renewal rate, moving is a job of a couple of hours and we do the transfer for you. Your domain can move separately from your hosting, and it does not have to move at all.
The Quote Checker takes what you pay now and works out the like for like figure here. It will also tell you when you are already on a better deal than we can offer.
Where these figures come from
Squarespace pricing recorded from www.squarespace.com, last verified 2026-08-08. These are approximate: Squarespace varies pricing by region and promotion, so treat them as a guide and check your own invoice. All figures normalised to include VAT at 20%. Centaur is not affiliated with Squarespace, and trade marks belong to their owners.
