Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Centaur hosting, domain and related services. By placing an order you agree to them.

1. Services & billing

Hosting and domains are billed annually in advance, in pounds sterling, and renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Prices shown include the first year; renewal is at the same rate unless we notify you of a change in advance.

2. Domains

Domain registrations are subject to the policies of the relevant registry and our registrar. A registered domain is yours; we act as your agent in registering and renewing it. Some extensions carry registry rules (for example, eligibility requirements for .uk names).

3. Acceptable use

Don’t use our services for unlawful content, spam, malware, or anything that endangers the platform or other customers. We may suspend services that do, with notice where practical.

4. Refunds & cancellation

You can cancel at any time from your account; hosting runs to the end of the paid term. Domain registration fees are non-refundable once a domain is registered, as they are paid to the registry.

5. Liability

We take backups and run things carefully, but you are responsible for your own data and content. Our liability is limited to the fees you have paid us for the affected service.

6. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified by email. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
